uDOCS PROGRAMS ARE DEVELOPED IN COLLABORATION WITH

DOCUMENTARIES AS CASE STUDIES

All uDOCS programs feature engaging documentaries which are presented as case studies for continuing professional education. The documentary films are used to address topics of professional responsibility, ethics, practice management or equality, diversity, and inclusion. They are selected through a partnership with Hot Docs Canadian Documentary Film Festival, the largest documentary film festival in North America, in the context of its Hot Docs for Continuing Professional Education initiative.

WEBINARS WITH LEADING EXPERTS

All uDOCS programs are composed of one documentary film followed by a post-screening panel discussion featuring leading experts. Each program is designed to bring to professionals an in-depth understanding of the subject matter addressed in the documentary case study and explored in more details in the post-screening panel discussion. All uDocs programs are developed in collaboration with students and scholars from universities across Canada and the United States.
